Ingredients

Butter

 

Butter is one of my main ingredients, using about 4kg in an average week. I source my butter from Our Cow Molly - you probably know them best for their ice cream. The farm is less than 3 miles away so food miles are kept to a minimum. As well as that, it really is the best butter I’ve ever tasted!

Flour

 

Flour is another of my key ingredients and I have chosen to use flour from Marriages, a company who have been milling flour since 1824. Their plain and self-raising flour have the Red Tractor symbol to demonstrate their British provenance.

Eggs

 

I use free-range whole eggs in my baking and make sure that other ingredients with a high proportion of egg (such as lemon curd) use free-range eggs too.
